FAQs and information

Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Sleeping Bag, Pillow, Towels, and other items of personal comfort
     Any additional safety equipment desired to wear while on an ATV, watercraft or in the field (i.e. safety harness)
​     Fluorescent orange hat and vest, appropriate clothing and footwear
     Firearm/Bow, ammunition/arrows which are legal for hunting in the province of Ontario
     Ontario Hunting License and tags for the specific species an season hunted
     A copy of a valid, big game license from home state 

Q: What type of firearm can I use?
A: Shotgun, Rifle, Muzzleloader, Bow, and Crossbow are all used.

Q: What is are success rate?
A: We typically have a 95% shot opportunity year after year.

Q: Where is the nearest airport?
A: Timmins, Ontario is the nearest airport at which is one hour away from camp and usually pick up clients there.

Q: how far are the average shots?
A: Bow -  25 yards or less
     Rifle - Bait hunts - 75 yards or less
              - Spot and stalk - usually 150 yards or less

CANADIAN GUN LAWS
All clients entering Canada must register their rifles at Canadian Customs. The fee is $25.00 per weapon (Canadian).

Filling out the form before you cross will save you time at the border.  DO NOT SIGN IT as you must sign it in front of the CBSA officer at the border crossing. It is only valid for the person that signs it and for only the listed firearms.  It does have an expiry date.

When entering Canada, you must have a passport. You are allowed to bring in bows and rifles, but no handguns or fully automatic rifles. A clip is restricted to 5 rounds. You may also bring 200 rounds of ammunition.
